You will need to:

  • show your My Vaccine Pass OR a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of your scheduled departure at check-in. This applies to everyone over 12 years 3 months old
  • present photo ID when checking in - this applies to all adults over 18 years

There is a list of pharmacies that offer Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) on the Healthpoint website. The test takes about 15 minutes and you will receive a txt confirming results. In Picton, there is a testing centre near the terminal by the rental car offices. This is open 1 and 1/2 hours before each sailing except the 2:30 am. In Wellington, the nearest pharmacy to the terminal is City Pharmacies in Bunny Street opposite the railway station. They are open 7:00 am to 5:30 pm weekdays.

Only people travelling on the Interislander on the day will be allowed inside the terminals.

Onboard facilities such as cinemas, play areas, bars, restaurants and cafes are open. However, only packaged food is available and our cabins are closed.
